This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Math is all around us! As an early childhood teacher, it is my job to expose my students to early math concepts in order to help them build the foundation for these important skills.
All students are special in their own way, but there are some that require more guidance.
That is where I come in! As a special education teacher I want to be able to support my students' needs as much as possible. The majority of my students are low-income, English language learners. My students are my inspiration and they challenge me to open my mind every day. I owe it to them to provide them with nothing but the best.
My Project
With your generous donation, you will help me provide my students with manipulatives that will create unique mathematical experiences for them. With these new materials, my students will learn their colors, numbers and counting in a fun and engaging way.
It's important to keep students engaged and interested throughout the school year.
Bringing in new materials for them to manipulate will allow them to keep their minds and hearts engaged. Help me lay the foundation for my young learners!
