Help me give my students the ability to use up-to-date technology with an iPad in the classroom.

My Students
My students are happy five and six-year-old children from central Florida. We use computers and iPads as a normal part of our learning day.
We are a Title I school.
We have about 97 percent of our students that receive free or reduced-rate lunch. Many come from economically disadvantaged families with one parent homes or raised by other family members. Many of our students do not have access to computers and tablets at home nor do they have internet connections.
My Project
I am embarrassed to say, the computers in my kindergarten classroom are almost ten years old. The towers and monitors are barely operating. Operating systems are so outdated that they frequently crash! My children say they are "haunted" with squiggly lines. We work with what we have and make the best of it.
Technology has become an integral part of the classroom.
An iPad would help my students complete their assessments. The current computers do not have the up-to-date operating system that allows them to work in the classroom and we have to schedule computer lab time which cuts into our instructional day.
My students have two computer programs to work on every day in the classroom. The reading program really catches their attention, and the students love to work on it. I print certificates when they complete a level. Competition is high for completing levels to recognized. The math program awards them coins, and they love to play the games as a reward for hard work. Both of these programs complement my teaching in the classroom. I enjoy my children having fun and I try to keep them interested in using computers. Fun Fridays are the days they get to play games and use fun programs of their choice.
