My students need literacy materials such as stamps and a cvc work center to foster their letter recognition, phonemic awareness, phoneme segmentation and first sound fluency.

My Students
Keep our learning fun! Our students love hands-on activities and these materials would make a great addition to our classroom.
Our students come from a low income inner city area and have limited experiences outside of the classroom.
Our school is a very tight knit community and we maintain great relationships with our families. The students relish in learning something new each and every day!
My Project
As very visual and kinesthetic learners, our students love hands-on activities. The students will be able to use these supplies during their literacy centers. With the letter stamps, they will be able to physically build words and have a deeper understanding of the English language. They will also have a better understanding of letter sounds by using the CVC Word Building Center and the I Can Build Simple Words set.
The hands-on literacy supplies that we have are very limited and many are showing their age.
Having newer supplies will help to further engage the students in their learning of phonics.
