In our kindergarten classroom, reading is more than just practicing letters and sounds—it’s how we explore science and social studies. Our thematic reading units are the only way we meet these crucial standards, making them a vital part of our students' education. Each theme invites young learners to dive into new worlds—discovering how plants grow, how communities work, and how the world changes over time—all through engaging stories and hands-on learning.
To strengthen these lessons, I’m requesting $300 in Teachers Pay Teachers (TPT) gift cards to purchase a year-long Next Generation Science and Social Studies bundle.
This incredible resource directly aligns with our reading curriculum’s thematic units, offering interactive activities, science experiments, social studies projects, and visual supports designed specifically for kindergarten learners.
