My Project
This year, I am teaching a special education self-contained 6:1:1 Kindergarten class. All of my students have a lot of sensory needs. It is difficult to engage in learning when these needs are unmet. Flexible seating will help with sensory input so my students can better focus on instruction and learning. Some items will also be used to create a calm down area for when my students are overwhelmed.
I love my students and believe they deserve a classroom tailored to their needs.
Unfortunately, our school does not have the resources to provide all the flexible seating options for our classrooms nor does my budget allow for such a large expense. Please help me meet the sensory needs of my students so that we can focus on learning and growing!
