Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My cozy kindergarten classroom is made up of 26 lively students who come from diverse backgrounds. My students range from learning how to read and write to learning how to use scissors, and hold a book properly. We make sure everyone feels welcomed and we respect one another. We have created a safe learning environment for all our little learners and encourage each other to do our best.
I focus on ensuring all of my students get the most academically and developmentally though-out our year together.
I like to make lessons fun for them to create memorable learning experiences they can carry for a lifetime. We are a team and even though my students are all academically in different levels, we ensure that no-one is left behind and they all feel special, accepted, and respected.
My Project
The use of Chromebooks will allow the students to learn beyond the walls of our classroom. It will provide them opportunities to learn phonics, reading, and writing using technology that will prepare them for years to come. Our little learners are growing up in the world where technology is at our finger tips, and the use of Chromebooks in the classroom will help them become world class learners.
By donating to our project, you will not only help them learn with the use of technology, it will ultimately help increase their academic achievement.
It will allow them to log in to I-Ready, go into guided reading centers, and use educational websites to assist them in their learning journey.
