My Project

In Kindergarten, students need movement while learning. Not only do they need movement they need fun! If kindergartens are moving and having fun they will be more engaged in the classroom. The stand-up magnetic write & wipe center is big enough to stand and move while learning.

There are many ways I can use this stand-up magnetic center in my classroom.

I can use the center to provide hands-on and movement during literacy centers. Students will not need to sit while working they will stand and move at this center. When learning their alphabet and spelling words the students can have a choice to use magnetic letters or dry erase markers. I can also use this during my math centers for counting, writing numbers, and building shapes with magnetic tiles. This stand-up center can also be used during free time with magnetic STEM activities such as engineering a coaster or create-a-path magnetic center.

My goal is to provide my students with this stand-up magnetic center to help with movement while learning, engagement, and a fun way of learning.
