Little Kindergartners Need an ELMO for Big Ideas!

My students need an ELMO document camera to help enlarge books, writing pieces, and science experiments large enough for the entire class to see!

My Students

Do you remember what it was like to sit at the back of the class while your teacher read your favorite story, and you were unable to see the pictures and really get lost in the words? With an ELMO document camera we can change this experience for our Kindergartners!

My students are full of excitement about Kindergarten and being in school!

They are sweet and ready to learn new things every day. Our school is fairly new; it opened two years ago and is lacking many instructional materials and technology resources. Our school has a moderate poverty level, about 40% of our students receive free or reduced lunch. My goal is to fill our classroom with the most technology possible to help our young students meet the goals of becoming 21st century learners and global competitors.

My Project

With an ELMO document camera every single one of my students will be able to see and participate in any activities that we do as an entire class. With twenty-two students it's sometimes difficult for every student to stay engaged in the lessons when they can't see the materials we are working with. The ELMO document camera projects anything that you put under it onto the overhead projector so the entire class would be able to view the same thing! We can use this document camera across the curriculum, which is why it's such a vital asset to have in the classroom.

Donating to this project will make a drastic difference in the way that my Kindergartners learn.

We currently have a projector in our classroom but we need this document camera in order to enhance the students' experience. They will be more engaged in our lessons and eager to share and participate across the curriculum.
