My students need 3 iPad minis. This will allow students to access RazKids and other reading/math apps that will help foster their phonics, comprehension, vocab, counting, adding, and subtracting skills.
My students are E^3: energetic, engaged, and eager. We are interested in our environment and preparing ourselves for an exciting year. This year we have goals, we have dreams, and we have steps to take to reach them.
My students deserve every opportunity to succeed.
I am excited to be at a new school this year. It has taken me a couple months to get settled in, but now I have a great idea of what our classroom could use in order to help us meet our academic goals.

My Project
The iPad Minis will help my students meet their listening, language, and comprehension goals in kindergarten. By having iPads in the classroom, we will be able to access educational apps such as RazKids or Starfall.
These apps will help foster their phonics, comprehension, vocabulary, counting, adding, and subtracting skills.
Students will be able to monitor their growth on the apps as well. We will use the iPads during our Daily 5 and math station blocks. Students will be able to access the technology at least 2 times a week.
