Help me give my students a variety of loose parts for our classroom learning station, including natural materials, manipulatives and trays to spark creativity, problem-solving, and imaginative play.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love how curious, imaginative, and eager to learn my Pre-K students are. Each day, they enter the classroom excited to explore and create. Their creativity and problem-solving skills inspire me constantly. A loose parts station will give them opportunities to learn through hands-on play, which is so important at this age. Open-ended materials like wooden pieces, natural items, and textured manipulatives will support fine motor skills, early math, storytelling, and teamwork. Trays will help them stay organized while encouraging independence. These resources will truly help my students grow through meaningful play.
