This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Fine motor skills will lead to success in the classroom. Students will have fun, engaging toys to enhance their interaction and learning in Occupational Therapy. Kids will explore sensory materials such as moon sand, water, rice while using their hands to manipulate items like to simulate fishing, and building. Also learning letters and numbers by opening coded locks, turning over sensory tactile ducks , or building the letters with colored play-doh. Dot painting increases hand grip which will assist with future hand writing skills.
