Little Gardeners, Big Learners: Growing Minds and Smiles!

Help me give my students some special supplies: rock decorating supplies, grow sponges for our indoor garden, plant food to keep our sprouts happy, and pansy seeds that will bring a pop of color and pollinator love into our classroom.

My Project

Our classroom is all about growing — growing readers, writers, mathematicians, scientists... and now, actual plants too!

My students are ready to roll up their sleeves, get a little dirt under their nails (in the most indoor-hydroponic kind of way), and watch tiny seeds grow into big dreams.

To make this happen, my students need some special supplies: grow sponges for our indoor garden, plant food to keep our sprouts happy, and Swiss Giant pansy seeds that will bring a pop of color and pollinator love into our classroom.

But wait — that's not all! My students also need some other essentials to keep our classroom running smoothly:

Number line boards for math adventures!

Book tape to rescue our well-loved stories (because we really love reading).

Desk strips to help little hands practice perfect handwriting every day.

With your help, we’ll be nurturing both plants and brains at the same time — creating a colorful, hands-on, joy-filled learning environment where curiosity blooms every single day!

My second graders are bright, busy, and bursting with excitement to learn about the world around them. They love exploring new ideas, getting hands-on with projects, and showing off their skills. A mini classroom garden and fresh supplies will fuel their passion for learning in the best way! I am also asking for supplies so students can decorate rocks for our garden.

Learning doesn't just happen with textbooks — it happens when kids get to do, see, and create! With these supplies, my students will care for living things, dive deeper into math and literacy, and feel proud of the beautiful things they grow — both on paper and in the garden.
