Help me give my students the fine motor practice to learn to write. Little fingers need to get strong, so these magnet boards and tools will develop pre-writing skills.

My Students
Welcome to the busy world of preschool learning. We are an active class of 2.5 year to 5 year old children. Our students are a diverse group, ranging from children with special needs, homeless families, to children who are learning English. Living in a rural area where services are limited puts a lot of stress on our families and childcare providers to provide enriching activities. Most of my students are able to attend preschool through childcare subsidies and vouchers. With limited funding and a focus on our students' social-emotional well being, we often fall short on new materials in the classroom.
Our staff strives to create positive learning environments with enriching activities to best support our students and families.
We are a play-based program which values children's natural curiosity in the world around them. Each child brings a desire to learn and it is my job to provide my students a rich and stimulating environment.
My Project
My preschoolers want to write, but some don't have finger strength to do so yet. Using tools like tongs, pinches, and scoops found in the Little Hands Fine Motor Tools, will help my children develop skills and muscles needed to do everyday tasks. The Write the Letter Activity boards allows easy practice without stress. The Snap-Together Letter Blocks build confidence and letter knowledge.
When practice is FUN these skills grow at a faster rate.
Play is the key to young children's early learning development. Having a variety of tools accessible to young students allows them to gain skills through practice.
