Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach an amazing group of second graders who are English Language Learners. We have some field trips coming up over the next two months and we want to help enhance the student experience.
We will be going on field trips to a local zoo, botanical garden, as well as some indoor/outdoor museums. The binoculars will be used to help students explore things up close. The water will be used as the weather is getting warmer and the students get thirsty during trips. The hats will be a fun surprise as we go to the zoo for the second time this school year.
