This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students would love to begin 2019 with knowledge on technology. This will be the first year we do collaboration in our Pre-K Program with special needs.

Many children experience my classroom as their first time outside of their home environments.

This will be a great opportunity to use my experience with technology in my classroom.

All children of any age, race, ethnicity and/or disability should have the opportunity to have hands on technology in the classroom. Many of my students come from low income families and have not been exposed to a computer or tablet in the home. I would like them to have their first experience being in my class. My students are full of knowledge and ready to expand it. They are smart and enthustiatic to learn!

My Project

If my project is fully funded I will be able to have my students work in cooperative groups. They will learn to share , take turns, (which is a very importan skill to learn in preschool. My student will not only learn about technology, but they will expand on their social emotional skills. They will also acquire knowledge in math and science areas with age appropriate activities on the iPad At the same time my students developed their language skills while working together. I hope to be able to expand on the iPads in future projects. My students will be able to have a class set. Technology is the future and so are these little Einsteins!
