This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In our Transitional Kindergarten (TK) classroom, creativity and imagination are at the heart of our learning experience. I am requesting LEGO sets to provide my young students with meaningful, hands-on opportunities to explore, create, and collaborate. These LEGOs will be used both for individual play—helping students develop focus and independence—and at our thematic LEGO table, where children work together to build imaginative scenes tied to our curriculum themes.

Beyond sparking creativity, students will strengthen critical fine motor skills by grasping, connecting, and manipulating small pieces, which is essential for writing and other classroom tasks as they go through school.

LEGOs also support cognitive development by encouraging problem-solving, spatial awareness, and storytelling.

By donating to this project, you will help bring joy, engagement, and valuable skill-building opportunities into our classroom. Your support will empower our little learners to grow as creators, thinkers, and confident explorers—brick by brick.
