My students are those who need a little extra help along the way. Working in a Resource room is a great privilege as I get to see my students shine in a different way from others. Every success is a big success no matter how small in our classroom. Not only do my students struggle with some sort of learning disability they are also students who attend a Title One school, meaning many families are considered to be in poverty. But the classroom culture we create together is one that is a safe and lovey environment and is not only for learning but for just being yourself and accepted. We learn together, play together and laugh together.
Little Bits will be used in the classroom to further science exploration by giving students a chance to learn through active experiences of play and experiment. Students will be challenged to solve real work problems by using science and technology.
Students will use the Little Bits during an after school S.T.E.M program that will run for 12 weeks.
Giving them the opportunity to really dig deep into their project and find out what it is in the world that they would like to solve by using science and technology. Little Bits will open the door for endless possibilities for students.
