My Project

My PreK students are learning to love books and stories. Their favorite books are the ones they write themselves! Their own names are the first thing they learn to read and recognize in print. They quickly learn to recognize the names of their classmates and they love "reading" the pages in our class-made books that their friends have illustrated.

Our class-made books are so well loved they are falling apart!

We have bound them with rings, with tape and with comb-binding. All of these methods fail repeatedly. We need a better way to hold our books together and coil binding machine will do just that!
