This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach a group of 24 enthusiastic and energetic 5-year-old students. The majority of our school population is comprised of English language learners. My students come from all backgrounds and learning styles. They are hardworking students, and they do their best to accomplish their academic goals.
These little kindergartners enjoy creating drawings and stories on our computers.
They look forward to printing their work and sharing it with our class and with their families. Students are proud of their work, and it is exciting for them to be able to print a story or a very detailed drawing that they have created. We would love to be able to publish our writing, but we have no way to print the wonderful work that we do on our classroom computer.
My Project
My students need a laser printer and an extra toner cartridge so that they can print their stories and drawings. Having a printer in class will allow my kindergarten students to print their stories and their drawings. They will be able to display their creations in class as well as to share them with their families. Your help will make it possible for our students to become little authors and motivate them as they continue to learn how to be the very best writers they can be.
Your very generous donations to this project will allow my kindergarten students to publish the stories and the drawings that they work so hard to create.
It will strengthen their computer and printing skills which will be very helpful for future class projects. Thank you for your time and for your help. We really appreciate it!
