This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My class consists of 4-year-old students (transitional kindergarten) and 5-year-old students (kindergarten). Together they are 24 of the smartest, artistic and loving kids. They come to school each day eager to discover and learn new things. One of my top priorities is to provide a safe learning environment for each and every one of my students.

My students are in need of art supplies in order to be able explore their artistic creativity!

My school is a Title I school, and most of my students receive free breakfast and lunch.

Art supplies will help my students with the development of motor skills, language skills, social skills, decision-making, risk-taking, and inventiveness.

My Project

My students love to draw and love to create.

My class is in need of art supplies so that my students can explore their artistic creativity!

As I have four and five-year-old students, I am requesting Kwik Stix which essentially contain paint inside a tube that can be drawn onto paper. These paint sticks are age appropriate tools for my little artists hands. I am also asking for paper, a drying rack and tempera multicultural sets, so they can use them to represent their different backgrounds!

Please help my students have access to materials that they can use to explore their artistic creativity!
