This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I absolutely love how imaginative, curious, and expressive my 4th grade students are. They light up when given the chance to create, and our after-school art club gives them a space to explore who they are through color, texture, and design. With your support, students will use air-dry clay to build hands-on sculptures, rainbow scratch paper to experiment with contrast and pattern, markers and canvases to bring their drawings to life, and plain tote bags to design functional art they can take home and be proud of. Each material opens a new door for creativity and self-expression—something every child deserves. These resources will not only help them build artistic skills, but also confidence and joy in their own unique voices.
