My Students
My class has 28, outstanding, 6th-grade students. Our classroom is very diverse with students having a wide range of backgrounds and abilities. Despite their differences, they work together and help each other on a daily basis. They understand and value the importance of being kind and caring towards one another.
The students enjoy working and collaborating together on classroom projects and assignments and love to contribute to class discussions.
In our classroom, everyone is welcome and treated like part of a big family.
My Project
My project consists of books that are needed to enhance and grow our classroom library. My students have a wide range of academic abilities and interests and it is important that they each have books at their instructional level.
These book sets have been selected because they are high-interest and written by well-known children's authors.They range in ability and complexity to meet the academic needs of the students as well as their interests.
Having a complete classroom library with books that are current, interesting, and engaging motivates the students to continue to grow and learn and creates a love for reading.
