Literature and STEAM

Help me give my students steam books, literature books, math books, and a way for students to organize them: seat sacks! My students also want to observe fish in our classroom because we are studying living organisms.

My Students

My gifted class is a place of challenges and exploration. My students are ready to explore literature from many cultures and backgrounds. They will spend the year learning beyond their grade, so that they don't get bored or tired of school. Every lesson is a new adventure!

My students are from diverse backgrounds including Hispanic, Asian, and Caucasian.

60% of our school has free or reduced lunch. My students have many different life experiences and home lives. Yet, my students are amazing, intelligent, creative, diverse, and positive!

My students are fearless and ready to be engaged when it comes to learning. They want to soak up knowledge like a sponge. They are always brimming with questions!

The current pandemic and COVID-19 has interrupted our learning for the past year and a half. Our access to books and supplies has dropped drastically. It is my hope that my students can start to recover socially, emotionally, and academically with your donation.

My Project

In the current pandemic of COVID-19, my students have been impacted drastically in their learning. Not only were students online for an entire year, learning is still being interrupted by the Omicron variant. Due to the pandemic, our supplies have drastically been lowered and impacted.

Help me give my amazing scholars the gift of literature and STEAM to help them recover from the social-emotional and academic scars of COVID-19.

The books will be used for joyous literature instruction and reading. The STEAM books and fish tank will be used to explore the wonderful world of science. The seat sacks will hold the student's materials in an organized fashion.
