My Project
Help me to bring my students the gift of personally tailored literacy. Too often students are deterred from pursuing literary growth because the options presented simply don’t appeal to them. In our course, AP Seminar and Writing Seminar students are tasked with becoming facilitators of their own literary development. Our upcoming unit will feature an interdisciplinary focus on “enduring issues” in which students can explore issues such as substance use, poverty, conflict, and identity all the while utilizing texts as a vehicle.
