My Students

Our school targets literacy as the basic foundation to enrich our students lives and provide them with the steps necessary to be successful in their lies. I have a class of eager 8 and 9 year olds that want to learn and master their reading skills.

My class consists of 20 hard working students that are excited to be back in the classroom.

These students each have the passion of learning and the grit to persevere through challenges and hard times. They do their best to meet those hard challenges head on.

My Project

The use of headphones with microphones will support my students in building literacy skills with fluency, accuracy and inflection. The headphones with built in microphones will allow the students to read to themselves on their Chromebooks and play back their recordings to self assess. This will provide students the ability to make goals for improvement by listening to themselves and instantly hearing their strengths and or weaknesses.

By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.

Having the headphones with microphones students will be able to work in small groups and their recordings will be recorded clearly which will allow students to hear clearly their recordings.
