Literacy Tools for Pre-K

My Project

Magna Doodle interaction and play is an engaging way for students with kinesthetic means to reinforce their writing skills. Students not only can move magnets around and draw with the pen like on whiteboards, they can also imprint and stamp the magnetic letter impressions onto the Magna Doodle.

On the Magna Doodle, they can then use the magnetic pen to trace over the stamped letter on the board, reinforcing how to properly form their letters.

Students can also trace the stamped letter with their fingers without erasing the writing. The Magna Doodle boards also have a textured top, allowing students to trace their finger on the board they allowing them to feel the tactile surface better. All of these processes help the brain engage in the learning process and help promote learning retention of letters.
