Help me give my students a sensory based, hands on learning experience! You’re never too young to start building foundational literacy skills in a meaningful and developmentally appropriate way!
I have the privilege of teaching a special education classroom in Richmond city. My students range from 2 to 5 years old and their courage and resilience amaze me every single day. Many of my students have severe physical, medical, and developmental needs and are dependent on others for many parts of their daily living. They are extraordinary individuals who have faced so many challenges in their short lives and still come to school with a smile on their faces and are ready to learn!
My Project
I firmly believe that every child, regardless of developmental ability, has the potential to learn and succeed. Children with disabilities or delays, in particular, need to be instilled early with a high quality education and a love of learning as a way of helping them to develop and demonstrate their unique potential and abilities.
These engaging materials will help bring literacy to life for my little ones!
My students will be able to explore the upper and lowercase letters with all five senses using these fun alphabet centers! Alphabet bowling is definitely going to be a big hit and a wonderful way to learn through play! Please help my amazing little learners develop their literacy skills through these fun, play based alphabet activities!
