This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students are from the low-income community and face daily struggles at home and in the community. Even with these challenges, they face they LOVE coming to school and put a smile on their faces every day they walk into school.

We want to use that love of school to continue fueling their education.

The kindergarten literacy center will be an uplifting and invigorating place to learn and nourish the student's literacy skills through technology. We currently have iPads for interactive reading but would highly appreciate iPad covers for optimal use.
