My Project

Hello, I'm a kindergarten teacher. This year I have noticed my students have been impacted by COVID-19 greatly. Many have had no preschool experience, so this is their first year in a school setting. As you can imagine this has been challenging. Students are learning for the first time how to interact with peers and follow directions from teachers.

Your donation of hands-on manipulatives will not only keep my students engaged in their learning but also help give them an opportunity to interact with each other in a positive way.

I want my students to work collaboratively as much as possible so they can build upon social skills that they missed out on during the pandemic.

My students are like little sponges. They soak up everything that I teach and still want to learn more. These new hands-on materials will give them opportunities to work on skills that they have just learned about.

We will use these games and activities during our daily center time. It will help students practice the necessary skills needed to move on to first grade.
