“Literacy on Display: Trifold Posters That Inspire 3rd Grade Readers”

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The materials I’ve selected—trifold posters, sentence strips, markers, borders, and laminating supplies—will help transform my 3rd grade classroom into a vibrant, literacy-rich environment. These tools will be used to create engaging displays that reinforce key reading skills such as main idea, sequencing, vocabulary, and character analysis. With these visual aids in place, students will have daily access to the strategies they need to grow into confident, independent readers.
This project encourages student ownership and collaboration, as they’ll help build and personalize the posters themselves.
These materials support different learning styles and allow students to interact with content in meaningful ways. Your generous support will help us build durable, reusable resources that can benefit not only this class but many future learners as well.
