Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Second grade is off to a great start! Students are making strides in reading growth, building stamina in writing, and earning Deane Dollars for showing pride, responsibility and wise choices. Students have 'wallets' where they keep their dollars, and can spend them bimonthly at a student store.

The winter pencils, scratch activity, bookmarks, and winter treats will be an amazing option for purchase at our store.

The post its, markers, and magnet adhesives are tools to set up the store with price tags, descriptions, and dollar amounts in wallets. The books are juicy read alouds for students to share their thinking, demonstrate comprehension, and work to earn more Deane Dollars!

Thank you for supporting our students as they make strides in earning 'money', saving money, and deciding how much to spend and budgeting!!
