This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Supporting neurodiverse students with donated resources is crucial for enhancing their literacy skills and fostering a more inclusive learning environment. These students often have unique learning needs that require tailored approaches; therefore, the specific items requested—such as sensory-friendly reading materials, interactive literacy games, and specialized writing tools—will significantly enhance their engagement and comprehension. By providing these resources, we aim to create a more supportive atmosphere where students can explore literacy at their own pace, ultimately improving their confidence and academic performance. Our goals for this project include not only boosting literacy skills but also promoting a love for reading and writing among our neurodiverse learners. What makes my students special is their diverse perspectives and creativity; they bring invaluable insights into the classroom, and with the right tools, they can thrive and show their true potential.
