My Project

In my classroom, I am always trying to find new ways to encourage my students to dance, sing, move, play and express themselves during our class lessons. These books will aide in this process and will serve as supplementary resources to our class curriculum. This will allow for class lessons to be more exciting and engaging for students!

Reading these books during lessons will not only increase student engagement but also improve literacy.

Reading is so important for young developing minds and can provide opportunities for new information, new experiences, and new perspectives. It can also provide more depth, meaning, and understanding of class learning objectives. These books focus on musicians, composers, instruments, musical genres, songs, stories, music history, and much more that students may have never learned about before.
