My Project

Picture books are one of the best ways we can teach our students. Books build background and share the world through words and pictures. It is amazing to watch my students become excited, entranced, and involved in stories. Picture books find a way to make students excited about reading again as well as gain academic knowledge in all subject areas, which helps them to succeed in both school and life.

Learning through literacy is a best practice technique for activating students' interests and abilities to comprehend abstract concepts.

With these books, I hope to encourage literacy and build an understanding of our 3rd-grade history topics while applying reading skills to high-quality informational and fictional texts.
