This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As any child that is 5 years old, kindergarteners love to use hands- on activities. I have 22 students in the class. Half of the class is ELL learners. As a teacher who have been working with kindergarteners, I know these students needs lots of hand on activities to develop their knowledge faster and retain more information.

Allowing students to learn through playing helps them learning and also helps them developing social skills that will help them getting along together with all of their little friends in class, and out of class.

We are in the beginning of the school year. We are still practicing routines and procedures. There is not a lot of hands- activities. I cannot wait for next week to start using rotation centers. Here is where the fun will begin! This is where our students will get excited about school. Please help us get our kids learn as they play.
