My Project
My students are energetic, curious learners who thrive when they are given opportunities to explore high-interest, relevant content. However, many of them struggle with reading comprehension and engagement due to limited access to age-appropriate, diverse reading materials. To help them build their literacy skills and foster a lifelong love of reading, I’m requesting a classroom subscription to Scholastic magazines.
Scholastic offers a wide variety of engaging, nonfiction articles that align with current curriculum standards while capturing students’ interests with real-world connections, vibrant visuals, and interactive components.
These magazines will help improve reading fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension, and they provide a great resource for critical thinking and classroom discussions.
With your support, my students will have access to high-quality reading material that sparks curiosity, supports their learning, and helps them grow as confident readers.
What We Need:
Classroom subscription to Scholastic News / Storyworks / SuperScience (choose based on grade level)
Access to digital resources and print issues for all students
How This Helps:
This project will give my students the tools they need to succeed academically and stay engaged in their learning. By incorporating Scholastic magazines into our classroom, I can ensure they have regular exposure to meaningful reading experiences that build both literacy and a connection to the world around them.
