Literacy Area Rug & Materials for Creating Engagement in Kindergarten!!

Help me give my students an area to gather that helps practice early literacy skills. I am always printing and laminating new games to keep student engagement high in both ELA and math. Thank you for your support!!

My Project

I print and laminate new ELA and math games for my kindergarten students every day. I am able to keep student engagement high by doing this. Each project made is able to offer hands-on experiences for the students. Their excitement for learning is what school is meant to be about!!

Mini magnetic tiles are used to offer students a concrete way to map phoneme/grapheme relationships in words as they progress through the early literacy phonics scope.

The area rug will help students know where to gather for a story as long as offer movement while practicing letter/sound knowledge. We use expo markers all day long! They make self corrections easy and offer a fun way to practice letter formation, writing words, and forming simple sentences. Once again, thank you for taking the time to help out my kindergarten classroom!!
