My Project
This year I am working in a unique program. I am teaching in a left brain classroom, which is focused on individual activities like in a Montessori setting. I am teaching 3-4 year olds, and for many this is their very first experience in a school setting.
We are preparing them for Prek-4 and Kindergarten by helping them with their executive functions, such as emotional control, while also introducing them to Pre-K curriculum.
I would love to introduce more activities for science and literacy. I want to start introducing small words with puzzles to them so that they will be better prepared for kindergarten. I would also like to read them books about different cultures. I already have the traditional Cinderella story and the Cajun French Cinderella story.
