My Students

More than half of my students are on an Individualized Education Plan, but we do not let our diagnosis define us. We overcome challenges together and appreciate the uniqueness in every person. In all areas, it is our goal to gear up for success. Students learn goal setting, evaluating their own success, assessing their personal growth, and learning and reflecting on objectives and how to make new goals. Students are set up for success not only in the classroom but for life.

My students are engaged in STEM to master state standards, build social skills, and build awareness of careers.

My Project

With online curriculum, parent involvement is crucial! Many parents are not getting the recognition they deserve. Completing 2.5 hours of remedial math and reading a week is an essential part of our online curriculum. Many students are struggling to get these hours in.

Rewarding parents and students with Amazon gift cards will provide incentives for families to work together to have these essentials completed each week.

At the end of the month, parents and the students will receive an Amazon gift card at the end of the month when the student completes the required essentials in Reading and Math. Parents will be encouraged and rewarded for their participation in their child's education. Students will be motivated to complete all required remedial work on top of their regular assignments. Thank you for encouraging parent involvement.
