This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In my Spanish classroom, students explore language and culture through creative, hands-on learning. To support them effectively, we need essential school supplies like pencils, colored pencils, and classroom cleaning items that foster a healthy and productive environment.

Many of my students begin the school year without the necessary materials, which can create barriers to learning and creativity.

To ensure equity and support for every student, these supplies will be housed in organized classroom stations where all Spanish learners, regardless of background, will have equal and consistent access throughout the year. This shared system promotes independence, responsibility, and inclusivity.

Every student who enters my Spanish classroom will have what they need to participate fully, focus on learning, and express themselves creatively, without the stress of not having basic supplies. These tools will help my students engage in vocabulary games, cultural art projects, partner conversations, and more.
