This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

In my 5th grade ELL class, my students are taking on the challenge of learning a new language.

My English language students are eager to learn, hard working, and just want the same opportunities as anyone else.

They really enjoy learning on their devices. My classroom is 1 to 1 with iPads, but our school's resources are limited, and we cannot afford to purchase enough headsets for our students.

My ELL students are excited about learning more vocabulary and improving their reading and writing skills!

My Project

In my classroom, we focus on Listening and Speaking on a daily basis. Building language skills through the use of technology will allow me to work in small groups with other students who need more one-on-one attention while the rest of the class works in learning stations.

Having the Califone Headsets would work to filter outside noise and allow students to listen more attentively while working on their iPads.

Students will be able to listen to language building lessons and create video presentations that demonstrate their learning.

By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement!
