My Project
Please help our first grade class develop a listening station! Our students have very few opportunities at home to read and listen to good literature. Having a listening station in the classroom will help fill that void and give them concrete examples of good literature.
My first graders will gain reading skill and fluency by listening to experts read delightful children's books.
While the teacher is meeting with small groups, this listening station will give other students an engaging activity which will also further their reading skills. Please consider helping our class as we strive to catch the students up to the grade one level of reading.
