My students need to hear fluent reading! We need 4 CD players and headphones. Right now in the school year they are reading only the pictures but my hope is by April they'll be reading on their own.

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My kindergarteners love reading! Right now in the school year they are reading only the pictures but my hope is by April they will be able to read on their own. I am in my second year and working on building learning centers for my students.

A listening center that gives students the chance to hear a story read to them with music, noise, and character voices will help them see the story come to life.

My students could listen to read-aloud all day if they could choose. Sometimes we will read story after story because they found a cool book in the library.

My Project

My kindergarteners are so eager to read. One of their biggest frustrations is finding a book they desperately want to read but are unable to. I want to give them the confidence of opening a book they have been wanting to read and truly escaping into the story.

My students need a listening center with cd players and headphones to give them multi-sensory experiences with books.

The students will be able to hear and see the words come to life.
