This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a Pre-K teacher, I work every day to create an engaging and supportive environment where students can develop essential early skills. In our classroom, headphones are a critical tool during activities that promote early literacy, language development, and independent learning. Unfortunately, the headphones we currently have are no longer functioning properly due to heavy use over time, limiting my students’ ability to fully engage in technology-based lessons.

Providing 20 new sets of durable, child-friendly headphones will make a significant difference in their learning experience.

With new headphones, my students will be able to stay focused during independent activities, participate actively in digital lessons, and enjoy a quieter, more organized classroom atmosphere. This project’s goal is to enhance student engagement, support personalized learning, and promote a strong foundation in essential academic skills through the use of updated technology.

My students are incredibly special because of their curiosity, resilience, and eagerness to learn. They come to school each day excited to discover new things and work hard to achieve their goals. By providing them with the proper tools, I can help nurture their love for learning and ensure every child has the resources they need to succeed.
