My students need headphones that work and don't hurt their ears so they can listen and learn.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are dreamers, believers, and leaders. They are kind, inquisitive, and hardworking. In my class, most students are English Language Learners, with 65% of the students at the school speaking a first language other than English. Because we are a full inclusion school, many of my students also have a variety of disabilities.
The school serves a high-poverty area in Boston, and the faculty and staff are committed to providing our students with the best education, for they deserve nothing less.
My Project
Now that we have some awesome technology (thank you donors!), we need headphones that will last and will not hurt our ears. We use a variety of online learning platforms to compliment our curricula so that each student can receive truly individualized and targeted practice in a multitude of skills. We are dedicated to using these online programs and technology with maximum effectiveness but that simply cannot happen if my students cannot hear the programs.
Finding headphones that work is currently a barrier to our learning.
Your generous donations can help us maximize the use of our online learning resources.
