Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are working hard every single day. I want to be able to reward my students with a gift they are proud to be able to receive. My school is a very low income school that serves a lot of low income areas which means that most students' parents cannot afford to give their students beats headphones. These headphones will increase our academic engagement in classes. A majority of my students are ELL who gets the accommodation "text to speech" and they are often shamed when I place these by them. They often say, "I do not need them" when in fact, they do. These will make learning a little easier.
