My students need 4 copies each of books such as My First Informational Text Read-Alongs, Sheep in a Jeep, Where the Wild Things Are, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, and matching cds for our listening center.

My students are lucky to have such a wonderful community school.
They are proud of their school and are hard workers. They strive to please their teachers, and their teachers strive to do their best for each student. They come to kindergarten hungry to learn from all different backgrounds and skill levels.
My Project
I love letting my students listen to children's picture books. Books are such a valuable tool for teaching and learning. We want a listening center with book sets like "My First Informational Text Read-Alongs", "Sheep in a Jeep Read-Along"," Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs Read-Along", where students can sit and listen to books being read to them. Reading comprehension is an important component of reading success. I know this listening center will aid in helping them develop and improve reading comprehension skills.
