Listening Center Stations

My students need 2 listening stations in order to hear stories in a literacy center during our Literacy Block.

My Students

I would love to share the joy of reading and books with my learners! Please donate to help our students curl up and listen to stories!

I have 25 kindergartners that LOVE coming to school My school is a Title 1 school, and we have a high ELL population.

We also are an optional school and many learned with special needs request to come to our school because of our Special education teachers. Therefore, our population is VERY diverse. We are a melting pot in a school of 700 students! In my classroom I have 16 learners on free lunch, and many can't afford to buy books. I want to expose them to the best literature they probably won't receive at home~!

My Project

My students are busy during my literacy block. We have 7 stations that they are involved in within a week! I would love my learned to experience a listening station in order to be exposed to wonderful literature while I am teaching small groups. Integrating technology is very important to develop a tech-savvy population of learners!

My students will benefit from these listening stations because they will be involved with literature and develop the love of reading.

Research says the more books that a student is exposed to, the better the reader! I want my kids to be the BEST readers!
