This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am asking for a new tape/CD player for a listening center. I have many fun and high-quality stories on tape and CD. The students listen to the stories and complete mini book reports that include opinion, beginning, middle, and end, or noting key details in the stories.

This is one of the independent centers I use during my literacy block while I teach reading in small groups.

I am also asking for jump ropes and soft, squishy balls to use during PE or indoor recess in our cold, snowy winter.
