Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I loved books when I was younger and I believe that starts with a Kindergarten classroom with a print rich environment and class library. In my reading rotation center, I have a listening center that reads them a book. They then fill out a paper that allows them to incorporate writing and develop their comprehension. This is especially useful to develop their English language development as many of my students are English learners.
The stories within this bundle will add to my listening center collection and the other books will be added to my class library for all students to have access to.
The organization book rack and bags will be able to hold the books that I currently have along with my new books. My students don't have access to many new books and I would love to allow them to get excited about new books and reading.
